ELO Encounter brings classic Electric Light Orchestra hits to San Fulgencio

ELO fans can look forward to a night of soaring strings, harmonies and some of the band’s best-known songs when The ELO Encounter comes to the Big Top in San Fulgencio on Saturday, November 7. The live tribute will celebrate the music of Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra, with professional UK musicians recreating the distinctive sound that made ELO one of the biggest acts of its era.

The live tribute celebrates the music of Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra, recreating the distinctive sound that made the band one of the biggest acts of its era.

The show draws from ELO’s hit-filled catalogue, with musicians performing live and combining vocals and strings to capture the sound at the heart of the original recordings.

Fans can expect favourites including Mr Blue Sky, Evil Woman, Telephone Line, Don’t Bring Me Down, Last Train to London and Turn to Stone.

The selection gives audiences the chance to revisit songs from across ELO’s career in a live setting, with the band’s distinctive combination of rock, pop and orchestral sounds at the heart of the evening.

UK musicians recreate the ELO sound

The ELO Encounter brings together professional UK musicians who share a love of the band’s music and aim to reproduce its classic hits faithfully.

Music will not be the only focus of the performance, with the tribute also using lights, projections and special effects as part of its live show.

The production is designed to complement the live musicians and recreate some of the atmosphere associated with ELO’s music and performances.

Tickets include table seating at Big Top

Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the main act due to begin at around 9:00 PM.

Tickets cost €30 for the front section and €25 for the rear section, with table seating included.

Street food and drinks will be available from stalls during the evening, while coach transfers can also be booked for those looking for transport to and from the event.

The Big Top, also known as Recinto Multiusos, is at Poligono Ue-2 Olme, San Fulgencio.
