Eagles tribute Desperados brings Halloween rock classics to Hondon

Fans of classic American country rock can spend Halloween with the music of the Eagles when tribute band Desperados performs in Hondon de las Nieves. The special evening at Hondon Hub on Saturday, October 31, combines live music with a choice of meals, with the show getting underway at 8:00 PM.

Desperados will be bringing the unmistakable sound of the Eagles to Hondon de las Nieves for a special Halloween night of live music and food.

The Eagles tribute band will perform at Hondon Hub on Saturday, October 31, with the music getting underway at 8:00 PM.

Fans can expect a trip back to the golden days of American country rock, with music made famous by one of the biggest bands of the 1970s.

Hotel California among famous favourites

The Eagles formed in Los Angeles in 1971 and went on to sell more than 200 million records worldwide.

Their long list of classics includes Hotel California, Take It Easy, Desperado, New Kid in Town and Life in the Fast Lane. They also picked up six Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

Desperados have built their shows around recreating those familiar songs, complete with the vocal harmonies and guitar work which became such a big part of the Eagles sound.

Halloween evening includes choice of meal

The Hondon Hub evening costs €23 per person and includes a choice of spinach, sweet potato and lentil dhal, creamy coconut chicken or Spanish pork with paprika, potatoes and olives.

Meals are served with rice or chips, plus poppadoms, mango chutney and cucumber raita.

Food choices are required when booking and a non-refundable €10 cash deposit is needed.
