Get ready to feel joyful and elated this weekend as the wonderful Rock Choir UK returns to Benahavis village for a special evening designed to lift spirits and bring people together.
Live music at Andalucia Steps
Saturday evening, November 7, will turn the centre of Benahavis into a magical gathering. Starting at 7.30pm and running until 8.15pm, the performance takes place on the iconic Andalucia Steps.
Attendees can be wowed by a forty-five minute set featuring pop classics, rock anthems, and modern chart hits. Organisers have arranged the event as a free public performance, creating the perfect weekend outing for families, friends, and visitors looking for moving live entertainment.
Building on last year’s local success
This return visit builds on the success of last autumn’s showcase, when Rock Choir brought their Marbella Feel Good Tour to the area. Around 100 members travelled over to perform at local hotspots, drawing enthusiastic crowds across the area.
Following that warm community reception, the choir has chosen to make a welcome return to Benahavis village for another memorable gathering.
International fame and secret studio recording
Founded in Great Britain as a contemporary choir movement, Rock Choir has grown into a major musical organisation based on a simple philosophy: singing together improves wellbeing. Members join without formal auditions or reading music sheet notes, focusing instead on shared enjoyment and vocal performance.
Beyond their international travel tours, the choir recently achieved a major musical milestone. Members from the Chobham and Dorking groups secretly recorded backing vocals for Canadian rock band Nickelback. Their vocal work features on the track Simple Song, included on Nickelback’s newly released studio album.
Your visit this Saturday
