Music fans in Mallorca can look forward to four days of concerts, emerging talent and international sounds as one of the Balearic Islands’ biggest cultural showcases returns to Palma this week.
Palma is preparing to turn up the volume as Fira B! Música 2026 brings 56 musical performances to the city, offering audiences the chance to discover everything from jazz and traditional folk to indie, electronic music and rock.
Running from Wednesday, November 4, until Saturday, November 7, the music programme will take over several venues across the capital, bringing together artists from the Balearic Islands, mainland Spain and further afield.
Now in its 11th edition, Fira B! has established itself as an important platform for the islands’ creative industries, giving local musicians opportunities to showcase their work while connecting them with promoters, festival organisers and international music professionals.
Although the event has an important industry focus, much of the programme is also open to the public, making it an opportunity for residents and visitors to experience a diverse selection of live music without having to travel far beyond Palma.
Four days of music across Palma
The opening day on Wednesday, November 4, will focus on jazz, with performances at Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza. The line-up includes Kintsugi, Alex Abril, Benjamín Aedo, Lucía Rey and Fábio Leandro, bringing together different interpretations of the genre.
Thursday, November 5, will see the action move to Es Gremi, where its three performance spaces will host an extensive programme spanning jazz, pop, electronic music and musical fusion.
Among the artists appearing throughout the day and evening are Anna Ferrer, Clàudia Tomàs, Carolina Bubbico, Metty, Emilia y Pablo, Fades, Gÿe and Saint Victoire.
The variety of performers means audiences can explore different musical styles within the same venue, with both established names and emerging acts forming part of the programme.
On Friday, November 6, performances will take place at several locations, including the Church of Sant Francesc, which will host a Spiritual Music concert at 4pm.
Es Gremi will once again be a major focal point, with the Euroregion stage and Sala Zero hosting musicians including Guiem Soldevila, Toni Mora, Manon Mullener, Clara Gorrias, Gaia Rollo and Catuxa Salom.
Three stages for Saturday’s grand finale
Saturday, November 7, promises a particularly varied finale, with Motorworld Mallorca hosting 16 performances across three stages.
The closing programme will bring together an eclectic mixture of garage, rock and roll, pop, traditional music and electronic sounds.
Among the performers scheduled to appear are Pitxorines, Arantxa Andreu, Laura Marchal, Juanjo Monserrat, BIRRD, The Crab Apples, Gotopo and Zulu Zulu.
Other acts include UR Bad, Ra di Spina, Nineta, The Ripples, Alex Fernet, FAIXA, Bon Jour and Bilo.
Earlier on Saturday, Ca n’Oleo will also host performances by Felt Oxytocine and Miscel·lània Quartet, providing another opportunity to discover emerging musical talent.
Putting Balearic talent on the international map
While the concerts are the main attraction for music lovers, Fira B! also has a wider ambition: strengthening the Balearic Islands’ position within the international music industry.
Organised by the Balearic government through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport and the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics, the event provides a meeting point for musicians, cultural organisations, promoters and industry representatives.
This year’s edition places particular emphasis on international cooperation, with connections being developed with Italy, particularly the regions of Emilia-Romagna and Puglia, as well as Latin America.
Friday’s Euroregion programme at Es Gremi will bring together seven musical projects, including Maria Antònia Roses, Barrut, Ölivias, Remei de Ca la Fresca, Voicello Eclectic Quartet, LECOCQ and Rodín.
Professional meetings will also explore opportunities for Mediterranean musical cooperation and how artists from smaller or geographically isolated regions can reach wider audiences.
Other discussions will tackle the influence of streaming platforms and algorithms on music discovery, changing business models, the future of live performances and the growing impact of artificial intelligence on creativity and artists’ rights.
The programme also includes the first Ibero-American Meeting of Jazz and Improvised Music, bringing together professionals from Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
How to attend Fira B! 2026
With performances spread across four days and several venues, visitors can choose individual concerts and build their own musical itinerary around Palma.
The event combines free and ticketed activities, with admission arrangements varying depending on the performance. The full programme, ticket information and professional accreditation details are available through the official Fira B! website.
For Mallorca’s music scene, the event represents more than just another week of concerts. It is an opportunity to introduce local artists to new audiences, encourage international collaborations and demonstrate the extraordinary range of musical talent emerging from the Balearic Islands.
