Curtain calls
THE pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, performed in Albox and Arboleas, raised €3,004 for the local animal charity APSA. The Saturday performance at Arboleas was standing room only and the audience included the mayor. Christine Freestone, who had the initial idea and directed the show, was delighted with the kind comments from people who attended the shows and with the amount raised for charity.
She would like to thank all who helped in any way and those who came to the show, in particular the musicians who played so splendidly, Jay for the superb choreography and Jacqueline who stood in at the last minute as the mirror!
Although still recovering from all the hard work, Christine, encouraged by so many appreciative comments, is looking forward to the next production.
The wonderfully-made costumes and backcloths from the show are now for sale, contact Chris villafreestone@hotmail.co.uk
