THIS Friday night is the second Full Moon guided walking tour around Orihuela’s historic areas.
It will Start from the Puerta de la Olma, by Santo Domingo school at 8.30pm and end at Plaza de Santiago where ‘full moon’ snacks and drinks can be enjoyed for 75 cents each.
Places that will be visited include Santo Domingo, the Catjedral, Santas Justa and Rufina and Santiago. At each of these monuments an expert will explain its customs, rituals, anecdotes, interesting facts and secrets.
For example, Orihuela’s Cathedral is one of the smallest in Europe.
During the walk through the old town it will be possible to listen to a repertoire of sacred music.
