Monsul Beach
THE administrators of the Cabo de Gata-Nijar national park intend to install a new parking area for the Monsul and Cala De Media Luna beaches.
Both have heavy traffic, particularly in the summer months, with a correspondingly negative impact on the environment.
The existing car park at the Monsul and Cala de Media Luna will be substituted by a zone with the same capacity, covering 0.33 hectares beside the Monsul Guardia Civil post.
The new project will channel visitors and vehicles while controlling access for traffic, with improved pedestrian areas and better signposting of footpaths graded for public use.
