THE Supermotolandteam will be travelling to the city of Lleida, in Cataluña, this weekend for the second round of the Spanish Supermoto championship on Sunday June 17.
A street circuit situated in the parkland in the centre of LLeida has been specially built for the race. Britain’s Anthony and Mat Ford-Dunn will be amongst the competitors. Anthony is currently third in the championship standings and only 13 points behind the two leaders. A good result this weekend could see him at the top of the championship table, but he knows that won’t be an easy task against the reigning Spanish champion Francesco Cucharrera and the second placed Isreal Escalera. He said: “I’m looking forward to this weekend’s race. Street circuits are always tricky… But we have been testing hard for this and I think we have a good setting for the bike.”
