€156 raised for MABS Mazarron

FIFTY people took part in MABS Cancer Support Group Mazarron’s Petanca Competition at Cañadas Social Centre in El Pareton.

The winners of the final were Eddie and Pauline with MABS Mazarron co-ordinator Zue Burgess and husband Michael coming second.

“The event raised €156 to go towards helping those affected by cancer in the Mazarron area and we are extremely grateful to Lyn and Ron who ran an excellent competition,” said fundraising co-ordinator Di Choularton.

Meanwhile, €358 was raised at the night of entertainment organized by Gaynor with the help of Danny from the Dog House Blues Band.
