EVERY year HELP Benidorm has a visit from young people from Valencia to practice their English.
This year’s 38 students from the Institute of Secondary Education SERPIS were hosted by 22 HELP volunteers.
The student’s came “armed with questionnaires,” said Pauline Kearey, HELP’s publicity secretary.
“We have great fun too trying to explain the English sense of humour as they always ask us for some jokes. If the level of noise, and the smiling faces were anything to go by everyone had a super time!”
