RESTAURANT managers on Playa del Carboncillo, Adra, were studying taking the risk of opening their ‘chiringuitos’ (beach restaurants) for the summer.
In spite of talk about licenses, fines and permits, they said they have been working this way for many years, but Adra Town Hall and the Junta de Andalucia promised to reach an agreement on the matter.
Mayor Enrique Hernando announced that the aim was to allow chiringuitos to open for the season and it was reported in local daily #i# Ideal #i# that all the restaurants on Playa del Carboncillo would indeed open.
