THE Guardia Civil arrested a 34-year-old man who allegedly attacked three women in a Madrid park.
Between February and May he confronted his victims in a wooded area of Parque de los Alcornoques in the Tres Cantos suburb. Although he was heavily built two women escaped after a struggle and the third managed to bite him.
Police kept watch, eventually arresting an individual answering to the women’s description.
He wore the same tracksuit they described and failed to explain why he was loitering in the park.
Further investigation revealed that although he had a stable job and lived with his wife and family in Toledo he also lived a double life, preying on women.
He was remanded without bail.
