TANIA Aldridge was welcomed back on Tuesday in the Age Care Charity shop in Calahonda, after having completed a 780-kilometre bike pilgrimage.
The ten-day cycle started in St Jean Pied de Port in France, travelling an average of 80 kilometres a day, destined to Santiago de Compostela.
“The whole experience was an amazing journey. Outstanding scenery and wonderful people I met along the way helped me complete the pilgrimage,” Aldridge said Age Care shop manager Beverley Morland expressed her appreciation to all donators who together pledged more than €2250.
