Valencia residents will get tax reductions this year.
More than 240,000 Valencia residents will benefit this year from €40.7 million in regional deductions from their tax bills.
The announcement was made this week by the minister and chief of the tax office in Valencia, Manuel Javier Cabrera, who added that the discounts will most benefit those in the middle and lower earning thresholds.
The main points in the deductions include an increase from 30% to 50% deduction for large families and the deduction for the purchases of school supplies where families have one unemployed parent.
“The Government is on the side of the taxpayers”, said Cabrera: “the reconciliation of family life, the disabled and to boost economic activity.
It is necessary to combine budget strategy with active fiscal policies that address both growth and certain personal situations.”
