Bus shelter to arrive after five-year wait

RESIDENTS in San Luis are receiving a new bus shelter in the coming days, which was first promised in 2010.

It will be situated in Avenida Baracaldo where neighbours have recently been using chairs and a sofa that they put together themselves as a makeshift bus stop!

Now, after first asking Torrevieja Town Hall for a proper shelter back in 2010, work has begun and the canopy is due to be installed this week.

Residents in Los Balcones and Las Torretas also complain about a lack of shelters along the bus routes.
