FINANCIAL BOOST: Mayor of Nerja shows off the projects.
A SERIES of improvement projects will be performed in Nerja and Maro for a cost of €312,784 paid for by the Malaga Provincial Council.Mayor of the town, Jose Alberto Armijo, announced the news and said that during the last two years, more than €700,000 had been spent by the provincial government on the town.The money will be allocated to several projects which have already received approval, such as the redevelopment of the Calle Antonio Millon, with a budget of €150,163; repaving works on Maro’s roads, which will receive funding to the tune of €97,567, and the improvement of street lighting in the Avenida Rodriguez Acosta, with a total cost of €75,053.
