Wanted suspected arrested in Torre del Mar

A 35-YEAR-OLD man, with four arrest warrants issued by Malaga and Granada courts, was arrested in Torre del Mar (Velez-Malaga).
Local authorities reported in a statement that the man was caught after attempting to flee during a routine identification control in the area of the SUP-T-12 roundabout.
Officers signalled the man to stop his car but he sped up abruptly heading for the Avenida Andalucia, where he lost control of the car and crashed against a fence, according to the police statement.
He then left the car and tried to escape on foot, but was caught shortly after by police and taken into custody.
