THE government is going to spend more than €6.4 million on improving Malaga’s Cercanias local rail service.Of the funds from Fomento (the Public Works and Development Ministry), a large chunk will be spent on improving access to stations, especially in Torremolinos and Los Boliches, while the rest will be spent on improving energy efficiency on trains and in stations and improving customer services.
