THE Nerja Caves have received the TripAdvisor website’s Certificate of Excellence 2015 for the second consecutive year. This award is obtained solely by those establishments and attractions that have repeatedly obtained positive reviews from visitors on the website, having continuously offered a high quality service to customers. To select recipients of this certificate, TripAdvisor managers use a system developed by the company that values quality, quantity and content of the opinions shared by visitors for a period of 12 months, as well as the popularity index on the website.“Winning the Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor is a great honour for all of us who work at the Nerja Caves, and we would like to thank all visitors who took the time to leave an opinion on the web,” said manager of the Nerja Caves Foundation, Angel Ruiz.“Receiving this award only encourages us to continue working towards improving the experience of our visitors, with new services, with higher quality, as the opinions of our users are the best way of promoting what we have to offer and thanks to such a prestigious website, the audience multiplies considerably.”Mayor of the town, Jose Alberto Armijo, also congratulated all involved in the management of the caves as well as the government team who he said had worked hard on boosting conservation measures as well as improving the quality and number of services offered to all tourists.
