COMPLAINTS were made after army night-time manoeuvres startled and woke residents in the Alicante, El Campello and Busot area.Helicopters from the Special Operations Command unit (MOE) based at the Rabasa headquarters, woke residents at around 2am this morning (July 10).Head of MOE, Alfonso Blas, confirmed it was their manoeuvres and regretted the inconvenience caused to residents, adding that they try and keep helicopters away from populated areas as much as possible, but residents complained they were flying at low altitude and too close to housing.
