British swimmer found dead off Costa Dorada beach

A FIFTY-ONE-YEAR OLD British tourist has died while snorkelling on a Costa Dorada holiday.
The man, who has not been named, was swimming in the waters off L’Ametlla de Mar, Tarragona, beach when tragedy struck.
Emergency services were alerted when beach-goers spotted a man floating in the water motionless on Monday July 13.
Attempts by the police, paramedics and Red Cross workers to revive him failed and he was declared dead at the scene.
Reports say that the victim was on a camping holiday in the area with his family. Results of a post mortem examination held on Tuesday July 14 have yet to be released.
