FLOWING WELL: Traffic hold-ups were minimal, believed to be due to the staggered influx of tourists.
COSTA BLANCA traffic over the first weekend in August luckily passed without serious injuries and with few incidents.
The A-31 to Alicante and also the N-332 featured the usual heavy movement of traffic, especially along the coast but traffic hold-ups were minimal, largely due it is thought to the staggered influx of tourists.
A vehicle overturned during the afternoon of Saturday August 1 on the Alicante ring-road but no injuries were reported and traffic suffered minimal delays as a result of police clearing the road. Traffic to and from Alicante-Elche International Airport was reported as normal.
