COUNCILLOR: Victor Ferrandez said all contracts will be posted with the ADL.
TORREVIEJA is opening up city contracts to small companies. The city is formalising an agreement with the Local Development Agency (ADL) that will allow smaller companies opportunities to submit bids for tenders.
Councillor for Employment, Victor Ferrandez said the ADL was the best way to widely publicise all contracts and units of work starting with the employment workshop La Laguna, which is set to begin in October.
Ferrandez said that this decision was taken “to give the same opportunities to companies.” He added the measure was also intended “to avoid irregular practices from being carried out.”
The council has indicated that they are starting procedures for all contracts “to make things right in Torrevieja as it deserves.”
Anyone interested in knowing the details of these contracts can contact the Local Development Agency located at Avenida de las Habaneras, 20, or call 966 708 846.
