A MOROCCAN man died in El Ejido on Thursday, August 6, after being hit by a car in the Las Palmeras district.
Initial investigations suggested that the 50-year-old man, who died en route to hospital, may have been trying to cross the road in an area with low visibility, and the El Ejido police reported that the driver had tested negative for alcohol.
The man’s family and the Moroccan consulate were informed of the death, the police force reported, and the case would be passed on to a court for further investigation.
