THE YACHT club in Benalmadena hosted a group of young Finnish yacht competitors who, for the third year in a row, will use the facilities in order to train in Benalmadena waters because of the difficulties to train in their home country due to the rough water.
These youngsters, aged between nine and 13, come from the city of Espoo and trust that Benalmadena is the ideal place for them to learn and train for yacht races. They said that “Benalmadena offer us a great chance to train as our waters do not have the kind of tides that can be found here.”
