DRONE VIEW: The tourists fell so in love with Mallorca that they are already planning to return.
A PAIR of Swiss tourists fell so in love with Mallorca’s landscapes that they spent their holiday filming it from the air with a drone.
Its beaches, intimate coves and immense blue seas were all captured in the video entitled ‘Flying over Mallorca.’
Diego Gabutti, speaking from his home in Geneva said: “We want this video to show a new perspective and to convince people to visit Mallorca. Beyond the landscapes, which deserves special mention, are the Mallorcans’ friendly hospitality.
“We felt at home and we are already planning to return.”
Amongst sites featured in the video are the Serra de Tramuntana, a World Heritage Site; Sa Calobra with the mouth of the Torrent de Pareis; Formentor landscape; Cala Deia; Calo des Moro and Valldemossa: “Each place had its special magic,” said Diego, who spent eight days on the island with his pregnant wife.
