Man suspected of torching up to 20 cars is arrested

A SUSPECTED arsonist accused of torching up to 20 cars has been arrested by police in Seville.

The 27-year-old appeared before a judge who remanded him in custody in connection with the burning of vehicles in the town of Dos Hermanas, south of Seville.

No motive has been revealed by National Police who believe the cars were chosen at random.

Most of the fires were started in the El Rocío suburb but police say the risk to other vehicles and adjoining properties was substantial.
