Spain’s PM expresses solidarity with UK as terror threat level raised to critical

SPANISH Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy has expressed his solidarity with the UK after the terror attack on a tube train at Parsons Green in London.

Rajoy tweeted, “ Spain is with the British people and  their authorities.”

He then went on to wish the wounded a speedy recovery.

NHS England confirmed that 29 casualties weretreated in four hospitals but injuries sustained were not life-threatening.>

Scotland Yard says a huge security operation is under way after the Parsons Green bombing and is “chasing down  suspects.”

UK Prime Minister Theresa May has announced the UK’s terror threat level had been raised to critical – its highest level –  which means an attack is expected imminently.

“The public will see more armed police on the transport network and on our streets, providing extra protection.”
