Man stabbed to death in Madrid

A 42 year old man has been stabbed to death this afternoon (June 28) in the Madrid neighbourhood of Valdezarza.

A police report says that the incident happened at 4.20pm at a children’s playground and that the victim received multiple stab wounds to the chest and back.

The victim was in a state of cardio respiratory arrest when the police arrived and they tried to revive him for 45 minutes but their attempts were unsuccessful and he died on the scene.

The mother of the man has been treated in hospital for a nervous breakdown after receiving the news.

As of yet, the attacker has not been found however the case has been handed over to the homicide department for investigation.
