A 27-YEAR old man from Valencia was gored in the arm on the fifth day of the famous San Fermin bull-running festival in Pamplona.
At least five others were injured during this morning’s adrenalin-charged sprint along the 850-metre cobbled street course to the town bullring while trying to dodge the six specially bred bulls and tame bullocks.
Spanish media reported the five festival goers suffered blows and bruises and needed hospital treatment.
The young man who was gored was set to go into surgery later today.
Today’s run with bulls bred at the Victoriano del Rio ranch in Guadalix in the Madrid region lasted two minutes, 49 seconds.
