A BRITISH woman has apparently drowned after falling from a yacht in Menorca.
Andrea Leadenham, 53, was found in the sea at 3am on Tuesday. Her body was near the yacht she had sailed into harbour on at Puerto d’Addaia with her 54-year-old partner, Andrew Bulmer, just a few hours earlier.
A Guardia Civil spokesman said that all indications are it was an accident.
“It looks as if she could have fallen when she was climbing onto the boat in an unsteady condition and then lost consciousness.
“There were no visible signs of violence on her body when she was taken out of the water.
“But we will have to wait until the autopsy to determine the cause of death.”
