MILLIONS of Jewish followers have woke up this morning celebrating this years Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year in Judaism.
Known as the Day of Atonement, Jews traditionally observe this holy day with 25-hours of fasting and intensive prayer to make amends for the past years sins.
Fasting will cease tomorrow at nightfall and will end with and festive feast among family along with additional morning prayers, asking others for forgiveness and charity giving.
