SNIFFER DOGS: Gandia wants to incorporate a canine unit
Local Police in Gandía are working to incorporate dogs for drug detection purposes. Police are looking to create a Canine and animal protection unit in the city. Thanks to excellent training, the dogs have successfully participated in the various drug seizes and raids in Gandía in collaboration with the National Police. Their last intervention was in Cheste and with the use of dogs, more than 50 people were charged for the possession of narcotic substances. The canine unit is now going through all the necessary procedures in order to join the Local Police in Gandía.
