Storm Atiyah hit Wales, southwest England and Ireland last night, bringing about flight cancellations, diversions, and causing power cuts in several towns and cities.
The first named storm of the winter season brought gusts of wind of up to 79mph.
Rail passengers have been also warned to expect delays, as National Rail said it had imposed overnight speed restrictions in South West England and South Wales due to the conditions.
A yellow alert is currently in place for Wales and the South West of England until Monday midday.
