THE epicentre of the world’s party scene has been rocked with violence as a neighbourly dispute turned extremely brutal in Ibiza, Spain.
As reported by the National Police, officers were called to a property on Calle Rincón de sa Murada in the island’s capital after a resident heard desperate screams.
Responding officers found a 47-year-old woman battered and bruised on the floor and presenting a serious head injury. Upon questioning, she revealed that she had been violently assaulted by her female neighbour with an aluminium baseball bat after the two had a disagreement. She was then rushed to Can Misses Hospital where it is reported that she has a serious case of concussion but is expected to be released in the next few days.
Once a description of the assailant was given, police searched the surrounding area, finding the woman nearby. As Euro Weekly News understands, the 53-year-old woman has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in court in due course.
