COSTA ALMERIA NEWS: Cuevas del Almanzora unveils winning carnival design

CUEVAS del Almanzora council has unveiled the winning design for the poster advertising this year’s municipal carnival celebrations. The Festivities department revealed that Jose Miguel Torrecillas Aguilera’s poster got the most votes from the jury made up of members of the local carnival groups, the festivities commission and graphic designers. Jose Miguel who comes from Tabernas, is a graphic publicity specialist at the Almeria School of Arts. His winning design earns him a €300 prize. Cuevas council praised the level of all the entries submitted to the poster competition and expressed its gratitude to everyone who took part: Daisy Christina Willis, Mari Carmen Sanchez Valero, Ana Inmaculada Garcia Garcia, Marta Garcia Riquelme and Daniela Covarrubias, as well as the winner.
