Spain’s Guardia Civil bust criminal drug operation in Nerja

The Spanish Guardia Civil have busted a major drug operation in Nerja, resulting in the arrest of seven people for drug trafficking and criminal organisation. Two other individuals are still being questioned.

After searching 13 homes and local businesses, the Guardia Civil were finally able to identify and arrest the people involved in the drug operation. They also seized 170g of cocaine, 9kg of marihuana, 30g of hashish, 291g of other cut drugs, as well as 25,036 euros in cash. The suspected criminals had been under surveillance since last summer, according to the Guardia Civil.
