Dance, painting and theatre courses will be offered in San Javier throughout October as the City Council continues with culture plans. COUNCILLOR FOR CULTURE, David Martinez, expressed his commitment to these cultural groups with reductions and safety measures to be put in place. A plan to reduce the courses to 50% capacity will be covered by splitting groups in order to maintain the number of places originally being offered. Six to ten students will be able to attend classes with strict safety procedures to be followed including; students temperatures being taken, safety distances being observed and a gap of 15 minutes between classes to give the room adequate aeration. David Martínez talking about the courses, which start at the beginning of October, explained that the Council also have back-up plans just in case the Covid-19 virus gets any worse. Courses will be “blended [with] online modalities [which have been] planned in case [they are] necessary.” San Javier is set for a busy few months and it will be hoping that recent announcements will lift the city.
