The Race of Siurell once again filled Sant Marçal, Marratxí, with an incredible atmosphere of sport, community, and solidarity. Despite the rain, more than 400 enthusiastic participants laced up their trainers and turned the town into a true celebration of togetherness, all in support of ASPANOB, the Balearic association dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families.
Among the runners and supporters was Mario Mola, the world-renowned Mallorcan triathlete, who continues to be a strong advocate for the event. His presence inspired participants of all ages, particularly the youngest runners, to whom he proudly awarded medals to – a heartfelt gesture that perfectly embodied the spirit of motivation, kindness, and community that defines the Race of Siurell.

This year’s edition achieved a record number of registrations through Elite Chip, officially marking it as the most successful race yet. The combination of sport, purpose, and local pride made it a standout event on the Mallorcan calendar.
The race also served as the perfect opening event for Marratxí’s Autumn Fair (Fira de Tardor), a vibrant weekend celebrating local culture, produce, and creativity. Visitors enjoyed more than 200 artisan stalls, showcasing everything from traditional crafts and handmade jewellery to local delicacies and seasonal treats. The fair came alive with live music, gastronomy, and family-friendly activities, transforming the area into a hub of festive energy.
Children’s workshops, food tastings, and performances added to the charm, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
