Foodies in Torrevieja are in for a treat: the town is preparing to host the fifth edition of the popular A Todo Tren Gastro Route 2026 this April, in a lively mix of traditional cuisine, social atmosphere and enticing prizes, further cementing its reputation as a key date in the local gastronomic calendar.

Torrevieja enjoys savoury tapas in April

Across two days in April, participating venues throughout the city will offer a simple but appealing deal: a traditional dish paired with a drink for just €5. Drinks options include a small bottle or draft beer, a glass of red or white wine, cola, and lemon or orange soft drink.

The event will, once more, showcase the richness of local flavours while making quality food accessible to a wide audience of residents and visitors. Diners can expect a diverse range of classic dishes, from rice-based recipes and meats to seafood staples and Spanish favourites including Russian salad or tortilla española.

Win your weight in beer: Gastro route prizes for visitors and residents

Beyond the food itself, the A Todo Tren Gastro Route adds an interactive element designed to boost participation: customers who enjoy a dish at any of the participating establishments can scan a QR code, register their details and automatically enter an exciting prize draw. Among the rewards on offer are a mobile phone and even the winner’s weight in beer, adding a major incentive for Costa Blanca foodies to explore multiple venues, find new favourites, and participate in one of the town’s most looked-forward-to gastronomic events of the season.

Combining gastronomy, entertainment and a sense of community, “A Todo Tren,” taking place on April 24 and 25, continues to grow as a flagship event in Torrevieja. By blending traditional cuisine with modern engagement, it offers both residents and visitors a chance to experience the city’s culinary identity in a fun and affordable way.
