AA Dog Rescue are celebrating all things canine on Sunday, May 2 with a fabulous dog show, all the while raising funds to rescue and re-home abandoned pups across Spain and the UK.
A family-friendly dog show event in Arboleas
Family, friends and four-legged companions can gather at the Community Centre in Arboleas from 11.00am and enjoy a day of festive fun and furry competition. The welcoming atmosphere makes it an ideal outing for all ages, whether you are a dog owner, animal lover or simply looking for a lively community event.
Stalls selling artisanal products and hand-made crafts will be set up across the venue, free for all to peruse and the perfect opportunity to buy one-of-a-kind gifts. Visitors can browse a variety of unique items while supporting local creators. There will also be a tasty BBQ, cakes and a selection of hot and cold refreshments served throughout the day, ensuring no one goes hungry.
Exciting dog show classes
The real highlight of the event will be the dog show, starting at 12.00 noon. Dogs will participate in a wide range of different classes, from “waggiest dog” to “best rescue”. These fun and light-hearted categories promise plenty of entertainment, celebrating the unique charm and personality of every dog taking part.
Judging the dog show competition will be the Garner family of Sun, Sea and Selling Houses! fame. While each participating pup will receive a treat, there will be additional trophies and rosettes awarded to the winning dogs, making it a memorable experience for both pets and their owners.
Raffles and fundraising for dog rescue charity
Human attendees will have the opportunity to win big too, with prizes up for grabs in raffles throughout the day. All profits raised during the dog show will be donated to AA Dog Rescue, helping give dogs across Spain a second chance at life. This heartwarming event combines fun, community spirit and a meaningful cause, making it a must-visit this May.
