The fifth edition of the Dolores Intercultural Days festival will be held in mid-May, celebrating coexistence and cultural diversity in this charming Costa Calida municipality. The festival, which will be held on the weekend of May 16 and May 17, will include traditional dances, live music, and cultural displays in performances that will captivate audiences across town.

A cultural celebration in the heart of the Costa Blanca South

The initiative has been promoted by the Dolores Department of Tourism, the Dolores Town Hall, and the Alicante provincial council. This important event not only highlights the differences that make the neighbours and visitors of Dolores unique, it also fosters coexistence among the residents through delicious food, upbeat music, and deeply-rooted cultural traditions.

The event will be open to the public and will feature various fun activities for residents and visitors to take part in. It will kick off with an inaugural parade, including the participation of local cultural groups and associations from different countries.

International food offerings, traditional dances, and fantastic exhibitions

International tapas will take centre stage as one of the most anticipated parts of the festival, for a price of €1 that will go towards social initiatives and local charities. Additionally, musical performances will take place and add to the festive atmosphere in Dolores, with various groups and artists who represent diverse cultural traditions.

Scheduled performances include traditional dances, cultural displays, and other exhibitions, in a programme designed for all audiences. The event will have a festive and participatory atmosphere, making for a perfect weekend out for the family.

The event, over its five editions, has grown considerably in participation and offerings, and has become an important meeting place for families, visitors, and local associations. This edition of the Intercultural Days Festival in Dolores will invite visitors to enjoy a weekend of colour, culture, and overall, camaraderie.
