A unique experience that combines both the culinary world and charity is set to take place in Alicante at the beginning of June, offering participants the chance to learn new skills while supporting a meaningful cause. On Sunday, June 7, a hands-on pasta-making workshop will bring together food lovers and animal advocates for a morning of flavour, fun and solidarity.
Making pasta by hand with a group of friends: A delicious and charitable workshop in Alicante
Organised in collaboration with Gastronomía da Panocha and the rescue group Las Reinas del Biberón, the event promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere where attendees can learn the delicious art of making homemade pasta from scratch. Designed for all skill levels, the workshop requires no prior experience, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.
Taking place from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Calle Francisco Montero Pérez, 67, the session will guide participants through the basics of preparing fresh pasta, offering a practical and enjoyable introduction to traditional techniques. Attendees can bring their own apron, and those with long hair are recommended to tie it back. Chef hats are optional, but can be brought to add to the fun.
A charitable aspect: Helping rescued puppies
Beyond the culinary aspect, the workshop carries a strong charitable heart. All proceeds from the participation fees (€20 per person) will go directly towards supporting rescued dogs, helping to cover their essential costs such as food, veterinary care and daily maintenance. Each registration contributes to improving the lives of vulnerable animals currently under the care of the organisation.
How and why to register for this unique workshop
Spaces for the event are limited, reflecting the intimate and interactive nature of the workshop, so those interested in the workshop should not hesitate to register. Interested visitors can register through the official website, lasreinasdelbiberon.org/eventos, and can inquire about the event through WhatsApp at T. 644 14 69 49.
Blending gastronomy with goodwill, the initiative offers a refreshing way to spend a Sunday morning: learning something new, socialising with new friends, and making a tangible difference. For those looking to combine creativity in the kitchen with a cause that matters, this workshop presents an ideal opportunity to do both.
