The Mazarron Municipal Swimming Pool is preparing to host the “Great Welcome to Summer 2026,” a massive educational and leisure celebration that will have 150 available slots for children from the municipality to participate. The programme, which will take place at the swimming pool from June 23 to June 30, will include a free bus service from both Mazarron and Puerto de Mazarron.

A programme for small children and families to kick off the summer

The programme is aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 12, and who are registered or enrolled in a school in the municipality. This proposal, according to officials who organised it, aims at offering a special experience for children beyond a simple end-of-year activity, and provides families with a fun experience to share during the first days of school holidays.

To be specific, the programme will be available for families and children on June 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, and 30, from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

The programme has been designed so that the children of the municipality can enjoy days full of aquatic activities, games, team challenges, creative workshops and numerous surprises, while promoting coexistence, personal autonomy and the creation of new friendships.

How to register for the Great Welcome to Summer 2026

Families can register through the General Registry Office of the Mazarron Town Hall, or through the municipal Electronic Office, and will remain open until all available places are filled. For more information, those who are interested in participating can contact the email address igualdad@mazarron.es or call 682 043 318.

This is just one of the ways the Costa Calida municipality of Mazarron is working to kick off the summer and the hottest months with a good vibe. As the Region of Murcia gets busier and busier nearing peak season, initiatives like these are essential for families to spend time together, cool off, and enjoy their summer 2026 to the fullest.
