A piece of Costa del Sol nightlife history returns on Sunday, June 28, as La Zambra Resort in Mijas hosts the launch party for Sarao Nights. Inspired by the famous club from the hotel’s iconic Byblos era in the 1980s and 1990s, the event is the kick off a for a summer series of music and dining nights at the five-star resort. The launch night features a mega lineup that moves from an outdoor sunset showcase to an indoor club session.
Plans for the launch night
The evening begins at 7.30pm on the resort’s glorious Byblos Terrace, where guests will be welcomed with a perfectly crafted cocktail, premium drinks, and food stations set against the stunning mountain backdrop. The early part of the evening features a performance by NIN3S Intimate, a neoclassical live project created by Spanish producer and DJ UNER, which has been specifically timed as a wonderful sunset experience. Following the outdoor enjoyment, the event moves indoors for the main performances and late-night celebrations.
The headline act for the night is Daisy Dee of Technotronic, bringing an element of nostalgia to the venue with a live set celebrating 1990s dance anthems. Following her performance, a DJ-led after-party dedicated to classic 1980s and 1990s dance music will continue until the early hours.
Ticket prices and VIP booking options
Its not an evening to hold back on the spènding, this is one to enjoy as a treat. General admission tickets are priced at €80 per person and include full access to the experience, a welcome cocktail, food stations, and all scheduled performances. For groups of two to four people, VIP tables are available for €450, offering preferred seating and dedicated service throughout the night. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be amended once purchased. To complement the evening for those who want to make a full weekend of it, La Zambra Resort has introduced a special accommodation offer giving event attendees a 20 per cent discount on the standard room rate for the night of 28 June, allowing guests to extend the celebration with an overnight stay.
