Gran Canaria is home to a great variety of attractions, from beautiful golden beaches to fascinating historical sites. However, if you want a whole day (and night) of fun, no need to look any further than Holiday World Maspalomas! It has the complete package of entertainment under one roof, suitable for anyone: families with children, friend groups, couples on dates or work parties.
Wooland theme park
The Holiday World’s main attraction is, of course, the theme park, also known as the Wooland. As the only amusement park in the Canary Islands, Wooland is a popular day out for both tourists and locals of all ages. Here you’ll find a huge range of exhilarating rides and attractions, including indoor and outdoor options. The little ones can enjoy the ball pit, the Ferris Wheel, bumper cars, flying chairs and numerous carousels. Meanwhile, teens and adults can seek an adrenaline rush at the more daring rides, such as the roller coaster, Sky Drop, Twister, Aero Bat, Jumpin’ Star and the Toro challenge. Yes, families can easily spend hours in the Wooland alone, without ever getting bored.
Bamm karaoke rooms
Ever wondered what it’s like to be a rock star? Well, you can easily find out in one of the Holiday World’s Bamm karaoke rooms. Grab the mic, pick your favourite song and let loose with friends or family in an environment that’s just as fun to watch as it is to join in. There are four themed rooms to choose from: Tropical, The 80s, Neon and Pool. The latter two feature soft play pools that you can jump into mid-performance – guaranteed laughs and unforgettable memories!
Swing bowling alley
Once the sun goes down, or if you simply fancy some air-conditioned fun during the hottest part of the day, the bowling alley is a brilliant option for groups of friends, birthday parties or just a relaxed family evening. Book a lane, order food and drinks from the Mr. Kale restaurant and turn a casual game into a proper night out. If you’re feeling extra competitive, you may also get involved in one of the tournaments happening at the Swing throughout the year.
Anthology escape rooms
Puzzle and detective lovers do not want to miss out on the Anthology escape rooms at the Holiday World. Each room is designed for small groups (2 to 6 people) who have to crack codes and solve puzzles to find hidden clues before time runs out. Anthology is a super fun way to challenge the mind and test your teamwork skills with friends, family or colleagues. And, there are four different escape rooms to choose from (Subject 386, The Greatest Show on Earth, 50’s Rock and Roll, and the Hound of the Baskervilles).
The fun never runs out!
As if these four main attractions were not enough, the Holiday World Maspalomas packs even more entertainment areas, including the Palm Royal Casino, the Harrow Sports Bar, Ozone Gym, CrossFit zone, a covered pool, boxing ring and more.
The sheer amount of different activities is exactly what makes this centre so popular. You don’t need to plan different outings – everything you need is already here!
