Wine lovers flocked to the picturesque seafront of Colònia de Sant Pere on Saturday July 4 as the Raïm Wine Fest returned for its latest edition, bringing together 15 wineries from across Mallorca for an evening celebrating the island’s thriving wine culture.
Held along the Passeig Marítim overlooking the Bay of Alcúdia, the free festival combined local wines, live music, food trucks and spectacular sunset views, creating one of Mallorca’s standout gastronomic events of the summer. Visitors sampled reds, whites and rosés from wineries representing every corner of the island, with tasting glasses starting from just €3.
A travelling festival with growing popularity
Raïm Wine Fest is organised by Vi de la Terra Mallorca, the organisation dedicated to promoting wines produced across the island. Rather than staying in one location, the festival travels between different Mallorcan towns each year, helping introduce local producers to new audiences while showcasing the diversity of the island’s vineyards.
The 2026 event in Colònia de Sant Pere marked the festival’s fifteenth edition, underlining how much it has grown since its launch. Previous stops have included Palma, S’Arracó, Portocolom and Costitx, with each venue adding its own local character to the celebration.
Celebrating Mallorca’s winemaking heritage
Although Mallorca has produced wine for centuries, the island’s modern wine industry has flourished over the past few decades as vineyards have invested in quality production and revived indigenous grape varieties such as Manto Negro, Callet, Prensal Blanc and Giró Ros.
Raïm Wine Fest was created to shine a spotlight on this renaissance, giving visitors the opportunity not only to taste the wines but also to meet the winemakers behind them. Many of the participating bodegas are family-run businesses whose vineyards have been passed down through generations, making the festival as much about preserving Mallorcan traditions as promoting tourism.
More than just wine
Alongside the tastings, visitors enjoyed performances from local musicians and DJs, while food trucks served dishes designed to pair with the wines on offer. The relaxed waterfront setting and Mediterranean atmosphere have become a defining part of the festival’s appeal.
For locals and visitors alike, Raïm Wine Fest continues to prove that Mallorca’s wine scene deserves to be celebrated just as much as its beaches. By bringing together producers, gastronomy and music in some of the island’s most beautiful locations, the festival has established itself as one of the highlights of the summer calendar.
The celebrations are also far from over. The Raïm Wine Fest tour continues this Saturday, July 11, when it heads to Portocolom for another evening of Mallorcan wine, live music, food trucks and entertainment by the sea. Like the Colònia de Sant Pere event, visitors will be able to sample wines from 15 Vi de la Terra Mallorca wineries, with free entry and tasting glasses available from €3, giving even more people the chance to discover the island’s flourishing wine scene.
