Music lovers can kick back and enjoy an unforgettable evening of Cuban rhythms when A Night in Havana comes to Estepona’s Plaza de Toros on Thursday, July 23. Starting at 10pm, the performance by the Bernaldez Latin Jazz Orchestra brings a celebration of Cuba’s rich musical heritage, transporting audiences back to the glamour and excitement of Havana during the 1950s and 1960s.

A celebration of Cuba’s timeless music

More than a concert, A Night in Havana recreates the atmosphere of Cuba’s famous nightlife through music, stories and fascinating anecdotes from a bygone era. The production captures the elegance and spirit of old Havana, giving audiences the chance to experience the sounds that made the city famous around the world.

The Bernaldez Latin Jazz Orchestra will perform many of Cuba’s best-loved songs, including Guantanamera, El Bodeguero, Rico Vacilon, Lagrimas Negras, Anacaona, El Manisero, El Cuarto de Tula and La Negra Tomasa. The evening is wonderfully interactive and designed to encourage the audience to sing, clap and dance as the music fills the beautiful historic venue.

One of Estepona’s must-see summer concerts

Estepona will host a whole array of concerts over the summer, holding more than 100 events throughout the season. From live music and theatre to family entertainment, the town has plenty to offer for residents and visitors to enjoy during the warmer months.

For those who love Latin music, A Night in Havana offers an opportunity to experience authentic Cuban classics performed by a full orchestra in the unique setting of the Plaza de Toros.
