Celebrities, couture, elegance and fine dining headed to Lucia Marbella at the Don Carlos Resort for the 2026 Global Gift Gala, raising funds and awareness for children and families who need them most.
Red carpet style and international guests
The evening kicked off with a red (or infact blue) carpet that more than delivered on the summer glamour front. Guests showcased the highest level of fashion, style, tailoring, and jewellery. Hosted by actress Eva Longoria and Global Gift Foundation founder Maria Bravo, the annual gala brought together more than 300 guests for one of the summer’s biggest charity events.

Stars of screen, stage, and sports joined prominent business leaders and international name to support the cause, including presenter Nick Ede and global actress Shilpa Shetty. A standout moment of the evening saw Mexican singer and songwriter Carlos Rivera honoured for his social commitment and generosity, taking home the Global Gift Humanitarian Award.
Stunning setting, fine food, live music
After a welcome cocktail in the sun on the terrace of the Lucia Restaurant in the grounds of the Don Carlos resort, the heat lost it’s sting for guests to enjoy an exclusive dinner prepared by the Casanis Group culinary team, the group behind the luxurious Nota Blu New Brasserie and Mamzel at Finca Besaya. Honorary chair Zazou Belounis, CEO of the Casanis group is one of the main sponsors behind the annual event.

The night continued with an array of live entertainment and a fun, fast-paced charity auction featuring one-of-a-kind luxury items and experiences. For the first time this year, organizers opened up ticket sales to the general public, giving local supporters a chance to join in, enjoy the entertainment, and contribute directly to the cause.
Yes glamour, but one that makes a real difference.
It’s easy for events like this to feel purely about the glitz, but the Global Gift Gala manages to keep the focus where it mattered. The feeling of raising awareness and money for the vulnerable families was felt throughout the room. The funds raised will go straight towards expanding programs at Casa Angeles and every euro from the late night celebrations helps children who rely on them all year round.
