Benidorm to host four-day retro summer disco festival at Europe’s tallest hotel

Benidorm is getting ready to turn back the clock for four days of retro music, sun, and non-stop dancing as the Summer Disco Festival returns to the Costa Blanca city. Organised by Discos for Grown Ups, this vibrant celebration takes place at the four-star Gran Hotel Bali and Spa, a venue which currently holds the title of Europe’s tallest hotel and promises an unforgettable multi-day party setting on summer evenings under the Mediterranean stars.

A packed four-day line-up of retro hits

The festivities will kick off on the evening of Wednesday, September 16, on the hotel terrace, with a grand launch and optional fancy dress party. Attendees can dust off their best vintage outfits to boogie to 70s soul, 80s pop, and 90s dancefloor classics, complete with confetti, dancers, and laser light shows. 

Thursday night will bring an immersive silent disco experience by the pool where guests wear wireless headphones to switch between two channels of hit music, followed by a UV-lit white party after-party. On Friday September 18, the festival hosts its headline live concert featuring vocalists, choreography, and period costumes performing iconic dance hits, leading into a Studio 54-themed retro lounge night. The event will wrap up on Saturday with a grand closing party packed with sing-along guilty pleasures and non-stop dance classics. Each evening, the main show runs from 9:00pm to midnight, with after-parties keeping the energy going until late at the hotel’s Cotton Club.
